Lincolnshire documentary wedding photography at the Elm Tree, Hundleby - Hannah & Deacan
Hannah & Deacon had their BEAUTIFUL and relaxed day at the Elm Tree, Hundleby in Lincolnshire. It’s a venue I hadn’t been to before but I loved everything about it. The owners and staff were also very lovely, it was a fabulous day. It certainly didn’t feel like work!
They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony, outdoor speeches, fun and games on the lawn, an outdoor cake cutting and first dance. Did I mention it had been raining all morning? When we arrived to start documenting the prep it was raining and had continued to rain throughout most of the morning. Hannah was SO chilled out about it and everything carried on as normal for their outdoor ceremony. Then it suddenly stopped and turned into a stunning summery day, with 90% of the day outdoors, it was amazing! I have actually seen this happen many times, where the morning has been looking weary but the day has then turned out to be a beaut, so I hope this puts some faith into those who are worried about not getting the outdoor ceremony they are wanting because of rain. It is actually pretty rare that when you wake up to rain it rains it rains all day long (this is just something I’ve noticed on wedding days! There’s always some kind of break even on really rainy days).
Anyway, enough about the weather. This couple were one of the loveliest couples and their day was so full of love for each other and from their friends and family, it was a pleasure to be there and document it for them.
