Ah, Washingborough Hall. A lovely wedding venue in the village of Washingborough, just outside of Lincoln. I’ve photographed multiple weddings at Washingborough Hall and they are always beautiful with a touch of class. You don’t need to go over the top with decor here as it’s already elegantly stylish. It’s secluded up a gravel driveway so you have the whole venue to yourselves, there won’t be strangers wandering around, only you and your guests.
Emily & Matt had their ceremony at the lovely St Hugh’s Church in Lincoln City Centre. The church lies directly on the corner of Monks Road and Broadgate, being in the city centre you wouldn’t expect it to be so big and open inside but it’s a hidden gem, lovely inside.
I started at Washingborough Hall with Emily and her bridesmaids, whilst Anete went to their home to get some shots of Matt and the boys. We then moved to St Hugh’s Church and then back to Washingborough Hall for the wedding reception and party. It was a beautiful day, congratulations to Emily & Matt.
