Extended family photography at the Lincolnshire coast
Clare contacted me about a photo session for the whole family as a surprise gift for her mum's 70th birthday. The session was to involve Ricky and John (Clare’s parents), Clare and her husband Pete with son Jasper (plus one in Clare’s tummy!), Simon and his wife Kerry and two children Jack and Thomas. I’m quite impressed with myself for remembering everybody’s names!
We decided on a beach location that Ricky and John used to take Clare and Simon as children, so the location was special to them. It was a lovely relaxed morning, we splashed in the sea, built sandcastles and even buried Pete in the sand!
We did a few posed shots to get some with the whole family included and the rest were lifestyle shots, taken whilst hanging out with the families on the beach. I love these kind of sessions, everyone can just relax and have fun and forget I’m even taking photographs and all the smiles are completely natural.
