Woodhall Spa family photoshoot in the woods

This family session with Loren, Brendan & Baby Isla was originally scheduled to happen in late March in Lincoln’s Bailgate but we had to postpone because of the dreaded coronavirus. We waited until we were allowed to shoot at a distance and opted for a quieter location to reduce any risk. This session was ideal for social distancing as Isla is only 5 months old so there was no risk of her innocently running up to myself or anybody else around.

This session proved to me that it can be easy to do a photoshoot at a safe distance. I used a combination of longer lenses and wider shots, which made for a lovely variety of images.

We met in Woodhall Spa, first in the woods and then moved onto the grounds of the Petwood Hotel, where the family spend alot of time together as a family. The Petwood Hotel kindly have their grounds open to the public to explore and spend time during the current strange times.
