Cork, January 2019
Our first trip of 2019 was a home exchange to Cork, Ireland. It was our first time to Cork, a lovely city with lots of cosy pubs and Irish folk music. We stayed in a lovely house in the Saint Luke’s area. We spent a couple of days exploring Cork and then hired a car to visit the smaller towns of Kinsale and Cobh.
Unfortunately in my hurry to get my stuff together I picked up the wrong camera, my faulty one, meaning that all of my photos had to be shot at my lens’s widest apeture (f1.4). Shooting landscapes at f1.4 is a risky business but I persevered and did what I could!
These are some of my favourites from the trip.
Kinsale and Charles Fort
Cobh is a harbour town close to Cork and is famous as being the last port of call of the Titanic in 1912.
