Lincolnshire family photography at the beach

Introducing the Harper-Bulgin family! I was pretty excited when Emma e-mailed me enquiring about creating some family photographs, they have a two year old boy (Cameron) and a golden labrador (Indy). I love photographing children around this age and love animals, they are a huge part of the family and it's great to get them involved.

The session was at the same location as one of my previous posts, at the Lincolnshire coast near Mablethorpe. Although both sessions were around the same time of year and at the same time of the morning (8:30am) the results are very different. This time the weather was very sunny (not a cloud in the sky!) and very windy which gives a whole different feel to the images. I don't prefer one over the other, I love both sets of images, it just shows the difference the weather makes!

I met Emma, Marty, Cameron and Indy at the beach and we went for a walk. Indy the dog was very excitable and enjoyed all the open space and sand. We had the place to ourselves, we hardly saw a soul, just the odd dog walker every now and again. It's a lovely secluded spot, perfect for taking photographs without distractions.
